Happy Birthday to Me

Look at this great birthday cake that L-made for me. It tasted even better than it looked! I was in chocolate heaven.

These are some of the honored quests, great grandma and grandpa and little great grandson.

I got the pillow I wanted. It is so comfortable to sleep on. I have said over and over again how much I enjoy sleeping on this pillow. Thanks everyone who went in on it. Did I say how much I like this pillow?

Zions National Park

In May G-and I had a chance to stay at our friends parent's house near Zions. We had a blast! There were several other couples with us and we got to swim, relax, hike, do kareoke and laugh...laugh alot! Need I say more?

Thanks to Shawn and Linda. We so enjoyed the time spent and memories made.

Roll, Baby, Roll

So here is baby E- performing his beginning style for rolling over. This was taken a month or two ago so he is much better than this now and can roll from back to tummy and tummy to back quite proficiently.

Can You Pop It?

Sorry this is sideways. I don't know how to turn it.

She Had a Birthday, Shout Hurray!

It was J's- B-day. It was wonderful to celebrate her day with her. We had meatloaf, one of her favorite things. And G- went in search of her favorite cake. He went to 2 stores to find it! What a good man.
J- is hard working. She teaches voice lessons at our house. It is fun to hear her teaching techniques and to hear how she works with her students. Sometimes we clap and cheer from the kitchen when one of her students does exceptionally well. We can even tell that the kids are improving.

We love our girl she is fun loving, sensitive, caring and her testimony is strong. She is an excellent speaker. I asked her to speak at my Young Women's New Beginnings program and her talk far surpassed my expectations. I was so proud of her.

This summer she will be the female lead in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. N- and L- have parts in the show as well. It will be fun to watch them all !

Dinner at fancy Restaraunt: $150
Dinner served by these cute girls:
Priceless

Saturday night we were considering grabbing a bite to eat someplace when I walked into the house to find the table set nicely. Even the silverware was wrapped in napkins. I soon found out these girls had other plans for us. . . Big plans.

We were told to go outside, come to the front door and knock. After we knocked we were greeted and asked to sign our name to the long waiting list. Surprisingly, the wait was not long. We saw this sign as we were being seated.
We were given a menu complete with prices. We were also supplied with play money to pay for our dinner.
Click on the picture to see their great prices. The girls told us they would be our servers and they would get us anything we needed. They took our orders on a notepad and got our dinners dished up. They promptly served us our dinner and drinks.

K- takes her work seriously. We were served a beautiful steak, yummy corn, delicious fruit salad mixed with yogurt and an ample green salad. When G-asked for more salad, he was told "no," of course.

We enjoyed our meal complete with soft music.
At the end, I left a tip. My bill was added up on the cash register and I payed up! Then I left, feeling full and satisfied. We can whole heartedly recomend the service, the food and the wonderful feeling of being a part of the beautiful evening planned by these two cuties.
Thank you girls, We loved it!
